Ankita Lokhande has bagged her second Bollywood project and the actor will next be seen in “Baaghi 3”.
Ankita Lokhande, who recently made her Bollywood debut from the film, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, has bagged another Bollywood project. She will soon be seen in upcoming movie, Baaghi 3.
The actress will play Shraddha Kapoor’s sister in the third part of the action film.
According to the actress, she wanted to do an out-and-out commercial film and Baaghi 3 was the “perfect” choice. It is very challenging but she is confident that her character will strike a chord with the audience. The third instalment is different from the previous two, as Baaghi 3 is more about family bonding.
Talking about her character in the film, Ankita said, “I play a fun-loving girl, who shares a great bond with her sister. I haven’t played anything like this on TV or in Bollywood and the audience will see me in a never-seen-before avatar in my next outing.”
Film critic and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh took to his official Twitter handle to announce the news update. He wrote, ” #Update: Ankita Lokhande joins #Baaghi3 cast… Stars Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh… Directed by Ahmed Khan… Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala… Co-produced by Fox Star Studios.”
Directed by Ahmed Khan, Baaghi 3 will see Tiger Shroff reunite with Shraddha, after starring in the first film. Riteish Deshmukh will be seen playing Tiger’s brother in the film. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Baaghi 3 is scheduled for a March 6, 2020 release.
