Actor Himansh Kohli has finally opened up about parting ways with singer Neha Kakkar. He adds that he wishes the best for her.
Singer Neha Kakkar was madly in love with Yaariyan actor Himansh Kohli until they decided to call it quits. Their break-up had a huge impact on Neha and she took some days to get over the same. The Dilbar singer shared what she was going through with her fans on social media. Neha apparently broke down on the sets of Indian Idol as well. Cut to now, Neha Kakkar is back to doing what she does the best – singing and winning praises for her tracks. As far as Himansh Kohli is concerned, the actor maintained a stoic silence on their fallout until recently.
Himansh, in an interview with Hindustan Times, finally opened up about his break-up with Neha. Instead of making things ugly, Kohli reacted in a mature manner. “Whatever happened, has happened. I can’t change it. I still respect and wish the best for her. In bad times, we don’t stop respecting each other. She’s a fabulous artist and a wonderful person. I just wish that she gets whatever she wants in life, and blessed with happiness and good health,” he said.
Further, when asked if he would be comfortable with working with her in the future, Himansh replied in affirmation and added, “Why not? Why will I say no to good work? If good offers come, as a professional, I will definitely work with her. Our song Oh Humsafar(2018) was a huge hit. People still say nice things about it. So I’ll never say no to working on an interesting project with Neha.” Sensible, we say!
Meanwhile, after parting ways with him, Neha had mentioned that she was suffering from depression. “Yes, I am in Depression. Thanks to All the Negative people in the world. You’re successful in giving me the worst days of my life. Congratulations you’re successful!” she’d written. However, now Neha has moved on in her life and so has Himansh Kohli.
Now, it remains to be seen if Neha Kakkar is open to working with the actor again or not. Until then, keep following this space for more scoops and updates.
