IBPS Clerk 2020 Prelims Exam: Important Instructions
- Candidates who are appearing for the exam must ensure to reach the centre 15 minutes before the reporting time
- All candidates must wear mask and they can also wear gloves if they want to
- Candidates must carry their own water bottle as no water would be provided at the centre
- Candidates will be only permitted to carry a personal hand sanitizer (50 ml) and a simple pen along with admit card and photo-id proof (original and copy).
- Candidates will also need to show their status on Aarogya Setu App at the entry points for this purpose mobile phones are permitted till that point
- Candidates will have to switch off their mobile phones and deposit at the designated places. It is hence advised to label your mobile phone
- Candidates are not permitted to share any of their personal belongings
- Proper social distancing must be followed and candidates should stand in rows and on the marked spots for the same
- Also, as per the guidelines issued, Candidates with Moderate or High-Risk Status on AarogyaSetu App will not be allowed entry
- In case any of the responses in declaration suggest Covid-19 infection/symptoms, the candidate will not be permitted inside the exam venue
- Candidates are advised to carefully go through the instructions as shared with admit card to avoid last-minute issues.
IBPS Clerk 2020 Prelims Exam: Things that can’t be carried
- Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band, camera, any metallic item, any eatable item (packed or otherwise) etc. are not allowed inside the exam centre
- Candidates are advised to wear weather appropriate clothing. Candidates are advised to avoid wearing ornaments like Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin, Chain/Necklace, Pendants, Badge, brooch etc
- Items like Goggles, Handbags, Hair-pin, Hair-band, Belt, Cap, Any watch/Wristwatch etc are not allowed.

The IBPS has announced some rules and instructions to be followed by candidates at exam centres on the day of examination amid the COVID-19 pandemic as preventive measures. Have a look at these rules below:
-Candidates should reach the exam centre at the reporting time as mentioned in their respective admit cards. The reporting time has been allotted to avoid crowd at the centre and ensure social distancing in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.
-It is compulsorily to wear face mask
-Candidates should mandatorily carry gloves, water bottle (transparent) & hand sanitizer (50 ml)
-Carry a ball point pen
-Do not share your personal belongings with anyone
-Maintain social distancing among each other
