Sridevi death anniversary: Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi and Boney Kapoor to hold puja for the late actress on Feb 14

A year after Bollywood legend, Sridevi’s demise, her family including daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor with father Boney Kapoor will hold a puja for her death anniversary.

It was less than a year back, when Bollywood legend Sridevi passed away in Dubai while she was attending a family wedding. And though it’s still hard to believe for family and fans that she is no more as her death anniversary approaches Boney Kapoor and family is planning a special pooja to pay their respects to her.

Though Sridevi passed away on February 24, as per ‘tithi’ according to the Hindu calendar her death anniversary falls on February 14. The late actress was a religious person and her family has made sure to respect her wishes now that she is no more with them.

According to report in DNA, the rituals for ‘barsi’, to be held in Chennai at her maternal home, the report also revealed that other than Boney Kapoor and daughters Janhvi and Khushi, Anil Kapoor and his wife Sunita Kapoor too will attend the Puja in Chennai.

In addition to that, several members of the Kapoor ‘khandan’ are expected to be in attendence, including Boney’s youngest brother Sanjay Kapoor and his family, along with Janhvi and Khushi’s half-brother and half-sister, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor.

Meanwhile, Janhvi family has spoken numerous times about their unimaginable loss and how Sri is unreplacable. Janhvi in particular had to face the media and answer questions about her mother over and over again while she was promoting her debut film Dhadak with Ishaan Khatter, just months after her mother’s demise.
